Lyofoam® T dressings are made from Lyofoam® and feature a special, cross cut fenestration designed to fit closely around tubes, cannulae or pins. Fenestrated, sterile, polyurethane foam dressing for use in the treatment of wounds associated with tracheostomy, other intubation and cannula insertion sites.- Hydrophilic wound contact area promotes absorption, reducing the risk of maceration.
- Does not allow newly formed epithelium to penetrate the dressing, preventing wound trauma during dressing changes.
- Maintains the optimum wound environment for rapid healing.
- Quick and easy to both apply and remove.
- Outer layer helps to prevent strike through and reduces risk of secondary infection.
- May be used under compression.
